①Jumlah kecil, kualiti yang boleh dipercayai
②Berkenaan untuk suhu tinggi dan lokasi gelombang voltan sistem yang besar
③Kedap yang baik
④Pemasangan conveninet yang kukuh
⑤terminal penyambung yang mudah
⑥Cangkerang logam anti-karat
2. Notis
①Voltan lampau dan terlalu panas akan memendekkan jangka hayat kapasitor
②Situasi berikut harus diberi perhatian, apabila memasang kapasitor shunt dalam sistem:
a. Ia tidak boleh memasang kapasitor shunt terus di bawah harmonik yang serius. (reaktor anti-harmonik perlu dipasang)
b. Apabila transformer berjalan tanpa beban, kapasitor sepatutnya berhenti beroperasi
③Kapasitor yang menyambung ke litar perlu ditangguhkan selama 3 minit dan ke atas. Hanya selepas bekalan kuasa terputus dan dinyahcas melalui litar pintas, ia boleh disentuh dan diukur.
④MCB hendaklah dipilih mengikut 2-3 kali ganda arus kadaran kapasitor
